Our Indoor Facilities and Outdoor Play Area

At Cedar Grove Group Daycare, we offer your children many different opportunities and settings in which to explore the world around them. Here are some pictures that can help you better visualize the space your child will play in if he/she joins our program.

INDOORS

Our indoor area includes a front foyer, large main room with tables, a paint easel, “imagination stations,” and lots of room to play. There is a book room in the back that has lots of books and tubs of toys for children to explore, and a costume room for imaginative dress-up play. There is also a bathroom with a sink children can easily reach.

We strive to make all areas of the playroom intellectually stimulating for your child. There’s always lots of toys to play with and activities for them to do here at Cedar Grove.

Outdoors

Our outdoor play area has lots of space for your child to run and play in. We have a swing set, huge sandbox, a slide, playhouses, riding vehicles, and tricycles for your child. During our daily outdoor play sessions we encourage your child to get lots of fresh air and exercise and, most important, to have fun.

  • There are so many words which describe Sheila's incredible talent as a teacher and caregiver. She is loving, enthusiastic, creative, patient and so much more.

Sheila cares for each child individually, she listens and understands each one so well. We have had two boys lucky enough to spend time at Sheila's and they have both learned so much through the monthly theme's, creative activity and play. It is obvious how much time and preparation is put into every day to make learning fun for everyone. She is a master at teaching respect, friendship and fairness to the children.

Thank you Sheila for all you do, we don't know what we'd do without you!

    -- Ward & Nancy Ellis-Winters (Ethan and Zachary's parents)

I can't say enough about my experience with Sheila! She is absolutely wonderful with the children. She's loving, creative, and nurturing. She monitors their behavior carefully and helps them cultivate positive communication skills even as she teaches them the importance of healthy boundaries.

-- Brenda Gerbrandt, whose two children each attended Sheila's daycare for two years
